Farden Aesthetic Clinic ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal and medical information when you visit fardenclinic.az or use our services in person.

We process your personal data in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Personal Data (No. 998-IIIQ, 2010) and applicable Azerbaijani healthcare regulations.

For patients located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we additionally comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / UK GDPR). The lawful bases we rely on are: consent, performance of a contract (booking and providing treatment), legal obligation, and legitimate interest in operating the clinic.

3. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Identity & contact: name, surname, email, phone number, country and city — provided through booking and contact forms.
  • Medical: health information you share during consultation, including medical history, current conditions, medications and the procedures of interest. This is treated under medical confidentiality.
  • Photographs: before-and-after photos taken at the clinic only with your separate written consent.
  • Usage: pages you visit, time spent, browser type, IP-derived country and city, and referring source.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process bookings and contact you about your consultation and treatment.
  • Provide medical services and maintain your medical record as required by Azerbaijani healthcare law.
  • Improve the website and our services through anonymised analytics.
  • Send updates about your appointment or follow-up — operational messages only. Marketing only with explicit opt-in.
  • Comply with legal obligations including tax, audit and regulatory requirements.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We may share information only with:

  • Our medical staff and authorised contractors who help operate the clinic, under written confidentiality.

  • Authorities when required by law or court order.

7. Data Security

We use HTTPS/TLS for all traffic, encryption at rest where applicable, role-based access for medical staff, regular backups and audit logging. No system is 100% secure — but we apply industry-standard protections proportional to the sensitivity of the data.

8. Retention

Marketing inquiries: up to 24 months after last contact. Booking submissions: up to 36 months. Medical records: retained for the period required by Azerbaijani healthcare law (typically 10–25 years depending on the procedure). Photographic records: only with your written consent and for the period stated in that consent.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten") — submit a request via our Data Deletion form.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing performed beforehand.
  • Portability receive your data in a structured machine-readable format.
  • Lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of the Republic of Azerbaijan or, if you are an EEA/UK/Swiss resident, with your local supervisory authority.

10. International Transfers

If we transfer personal data outside Azerbaijan (for example, to email or analytics providers in the EU or USA), we apply appropriate safeguards — Standard Contractual Clauses or similar mechanisms.

11. Minors

Our services and certain content (e.g. surgical procedures) are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy. The date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the website.
