Consultation
- Breast area examined to determine type — fat, glandular tissue or both
- Plan defined: liposuction only, gland excision, or combined with skin tightening if breasts are very large
Procedure
- IV sedation or general anesthesia
- If glandular tissue is the cause — fine incision around the areola so the scar is hidden
- If purely fat — small entry points and liposuction
- For very large breasts — skin tightening also added
- Duration: ~1 hour
- Same-day or next-day discharge
Recovery
- Mild pain, swelling and bruising normal for first days
- Compression vest worn for 1 month
- No heavy activity or sport for 4–6 weeks
- Return to office work after 1 week
- Final result visible at 3 months
