Procedure
- ~0.5 cm small incisions in the donor area
- Fat collected via fine cannulas, filtered, then injected layer by layer with very fine needles
- Duration: 20–30 min for face, up to 1 hour for breasts or buttocks
- Compression garment placed on donor area
Recovery
- Compression garment worn 1 month
- 3–5 days of mild pain and swelling
- Bruising on donor sites resolves in ~10 days
- Shower allowed after 5 days
- Return to daily life in 5–7 days
- Sport after 4 weeks
